Microfocus
A small focal spot size of an X-ray tube makes it possible to dissolve e.g. defects that would not be seen with traditional X-ray tubes.
Luxbright’s microfocus tubes are sealed, bi-polar tubes, and at first glance they look very similar to standard, fixed anode X-ray tubes. However, the cathode side, which includes the filament and electron beam focusing, features proprietary designs that deliver micrometer resolution using a standard X-ray tube. The result is affordable microfocus X-ray tubes, expanding the use of microfocus.
