Higher Power Microfocus
Luxbright tubes operate up to 160kV and feature our microfocus technology that combines micrometer resolution with high power for faster measurement acquisition. The combination of a relatively high kV and a small focal spot size expands the possibilities of using microfocus in a wide range of applications. Battery development or inspection and non-destructive tests of 3D printed metal parts are two examples that both require higher kVs.
Product Variants X-ray Tubes
Luxbright's microfocus X-ray tubes come in different versions with varying kV and focal spot size. Maximum voltage is between 120 kV and 160 kV. Examples of X-ray systems in which Luxbright tubes are used include industrial CT machines and 2D X-ray systems for quality control. There are also applications within life science and security, when high image resolution is required.

Luxbright glass X-ray tube inserts are designed to work with current high-voltage power supply products with little to no restrictions. We can supply OEMs with glass inserts or supply end-users with a complete, integrated X-ray source.
