Luxbright launches new IX1 X-ray source at international exhibition in Las Vegas
Luxbright AB, a leading company in advanced X-ray technology, is launching its latest innovation – the Luxbright IX1, a high-performance X-ray source. The IX1-160001 is a complete, fully integrated unit with Luxbright’s X-ray tube, high voltage power supply, control electronics, and heat radiator, all in a compact design. The product is particularly suited for applications in battery development and inspection, as well as for the examination of additively manufactured or cast components.
The Luxbright IX1 offers optimized performance with 160 kV and 100 W, enabling rapid data acquisition in industrial computed tomography (CT). Its high-performance X-ray tube delivers 50 µm resolution, allowing the detection of small defects in mechanical parts. This provides a powerful and cost-effective solution for precision inspection in industrial settings.
The IX1 is Luxbright’s first X-ray source and marks the beginning of a new era of products from the company. Luxbright looks forward to developing and launching additional models to meet the growing needs of the market.
The product will be showcased for the first time at the international exhibition American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), taking place in Las Vegas from October 21-23, 2024.
