Luxbright initiates technical development project with major global engineering company
Luxbright AB (publ) has been commissioned by a major global engineering company, with a manufacturing site in Sweden and headquarters in Europe, to conduct a feasibility study aimed at evaluating how quality assurance of X-ray sources in advanced automated inspection systems can be improved. The assignment builds on Luxbright’s expertise in X-ray technology and quality assurance of X-ray sources.
The customer uses advanced automated X-ray systems as an important part of quality assurance in the manufacturing of mechanical components. As part of this work, Luxbright has been commissioned to conduct a technical feasibility study to evaluate how the performance of the X-ray sources can be monitored and quality-assured over time.
The feasibility study includes an analysis of methods for automated verification of X-ray source performance and aims to provide a more objective and reproducible basis for decision-making compared with the manual assessments used today.
The feasibility study will be carried out as a consulting assignment, with a planned start in the autumn of 2026.
“The fact that a company of this calibre has chosen to work with Luxbright is a strong endorsement of the expertise we have built in X-ray technology. The customer is a large and highly advanced user of industrial X-ray technology, and we are proud to contribute our specialist expertise. For us, the project also represents an opportunity to establish a long-term collaboration in an area with significant development potential,” says Patrik Hallberg, CEO of Luxbright AB.
