Welcome aboard! On August 21, two new team members were welcomed to the growing Luxbright team.
Patrik Hallberg (to the right) is our new R&D manager and brings a wealth of experience from other high-tech industries. Patrik’s previous position was at Cellink as CTO and before that, he worked for about 6 years at Arcam AB/GE Additive. Also new the R&D team is David Svensson, technical lead. David has a degree in applied physics and will take on the challenge of creating even better X-ray tubes together with the rest of the team. Since 2017, David has been working at Arcam AB/GE Additive with their electron beam based additive manufacturing system. Great to have you both here at Luxbright! Ever since his start in August last year, Richard Palmqvist, production manager, has been working tirelessly to start up the production of X-ray tubes in Luxbright’s Swedish production site. Tubes are now continuously processed through the complete supply chain and the objective is to verify the process.
A very warm welcome to our new colleagues! In line with our Made in Sweden initiative, we have the pleasure of adding competence to the growing team of Luxbright.
A natural and vital addition is Richard Palmqvist taking on the role of Production Manager. His broad experience with manufacturing and clean room environments will help us pilot the first Swedish-made X-ray tube. Ensuring a steady and qualitative supply of parts is the main role of Mirza Memisahovic. To grow and oversee commercial success, an industry native professional, Göran Zelander, joins as Head of Product Management and Business Development. John Forsberg joins as Operator and is hands-on in building our components utilizing our ever-growing machine park. Great to see them gather around the furnace overseeing the bake-out process of our Luxbright micro-focus tube. Richard, Mirza, Göran, and John are in our production facility.
Gothenburg May 4, 2022. Luxbright recently raised 25 MSEK in a share issue. CEO Mats Alm answers questions related to the new production site and other objectives for 2022. There is also an interview (in Swedish) at Direkt Studios here.
