GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN – (10 Dec. 2020) Luxbright AB, a leading creator of breakthrough X-ray emission solutions, is pleased to report that the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) has notified that the patent application for “An electron guiding and receiving element” will be accepted. This follows the CNIPA’s acceptance of the patent for “An electron emitter for an x-ray tube” in March of this year. Luxbright’s ability to obtain patents to protect current and future innovations is a critical part of our strategy. With this acceptance from the CNIPA, Luxbright’s cold cathode and microfocus technologies gain protection in a key market for the company. The “An electron guiding and receiving element” patent covers the microfocus innovations and the “An electron emitter for an x-ray tube” patent covers the cold cathode innovations.
The company currently completes the assembly of its X-ray tubes in China. China also represents considerable commercial possibilities for the company. Therefore, this is a significant strategic achievement for the company to receive patent protection of its technologies in this market.
